Overview
Neller Davies has been working alongside the team at Freshfields for over 3 years. Originally engaged to review their catering strategy, support a re-procurement exercise and realise an improvement in food service standards, we are now collaborating on broader FM projects across their UK portfolio. The success of this relationship lies, not only in developing strategy, procuring the right service providers and managing outcomes but our continued alignment to ensure standards are maintained both to the requirements of the contracts and to the expectations of the discerning customer base.
In Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s London office we recognise that food and service are at the heart of every catering contract and our Chef Consultant is heavily engaged in developing and shaping the offer for the employee dining and client hospitality businesses. This “hands on” approach breaks many of the outsourced thin client traditions but the positive traction between Client, Consultant and Service Provider is realising consistent and tangible benefits. The arrangement, based on mutual professional respect across all parties, has created a positive culture of innovation and a sustained, thirsty ambition for becoming an exemplar of workplace dining. Neller Davies takes an active approach to contract management not only to ensure compliance and standards are maintained but bringing best practice to bear and driving the service forward to ensure customers remain engaged, the food offer remains current and competitive and the hospitality service is exceptional. Regular mystery shopper audits ensure that the whole team at Freshfields continue to be positively self critical and the contract continues to be energised.
In Manchester the Neller Davies team has been supporting and advising the design and architectural team in the recent fit out of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s new prestigious Global Centre. Working in collaboration with the in-house procurement and business services teams we co-ordinated a procurement exercise which realised two new FM partners for Freshfields providing facilities management across both hard and soft services. The contracts were established to dovetail with the fit out schedule delivering a seamless handover of responsibilities and a professionally managed mobilisation period.
